Patience vs. Gravity

No glue - really. Rounding a bend along the seawall in Stanley Park, Vancouver, we sighted our first stack of rocks. We thought of glue - or maybe even reinforcing rods down the center - but simple gravity didn't seem possible. Just a few steps further, however, suggested that drilling for reinforcement wasn't likely - there were at least ten stacks. In fact the artist was at work, stacking more improbable sculptures. By the time we came back, there were dozens.
